Juan Isidro Nina

Juan Isidro Nina, 61, of Spring Township, passed away May 9, 2017 in the Reading Hospital.

He was the beloved husband of Altagracia (de los Santos ) Nina with whom he celebrated 42 years of marriage.

Born in San Cristobal, DR, he was the son of the late Juan Isidro and Simeona (de la Rosa) Nina.

Juan was a graduate of Institute Politecnico Loyola.

In his early years, in Dominican Republic, he enjoyed working as a machinist and tool maker.

Juan was a loving father and cared very much for his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by seven children, Marveen, wife of Peter Rodriguez, Sinking Spring; Cintya, wife of Uriel Roman, Reading; Jahaira Nina, West Reading; Samalia, wife of Jared Wilson, Idaho; Laura Nina, West Lawn; Anna, wife of Carlos Rubirosa, Sinking Spring; and Felixander Nina, Sinking Spring. He is also survived by six siblings, Juan DeJesus Nina, Primitiva Morban, Glady Nina, Bienvenido Nina, Josephina De Heredia, Fabian Antonio Nina, and 16 grandchildren, Luz, Jasmin, Breanna, Rachel, Jacob, Brandon, Mya, Thomas, Megan, Grace, Allison, Mackensie, Mia, Miles, Camila and Alonso.

Juan was predeceased by his brother, Felix Antonio Nina.

Services will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint, 3344, Reading Crest Ave., Reading, PA 19605 with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. A viewing will be held Thursday, May 11, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc, West Reading.
