Joyce E. Jones

Joyce E. (Roth) Jones, 63, of 543 Mohrsville Road, Shoemakersville, Pa 19555, died June 8th at 6:40 p.m. in St. Joseph's Hospital where she had been since May 23rd.

She was the wife of Albert J. Jones.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Edna (Sensenig) Roth.

She had attended Ontelaunee High School.

Jones was a lens polisher for 30 years at Pennsylvania Optical retiring January 2002.

She was a member of Epler's United Church of Christ, Bern Township.

Jones is also survived by a daughter; Mistee M. (Ross) Atkins of Shartelsville and a son; Scott R. Cullen of Perry Township.

She is also survived by a step-son, Gregory A. Jones of Reading.

Other survivors include a sister, Joan (Roth) Lenhart of Bern Township and a brother, Glenn Roth of Bern Township.

There are four grandchildren.

Services will be Friday 11:00 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Rev. James A. Killian officiating. Viewing Thursday evening 6:30 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Epler's Church Cemetery, Bern Township. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, Pa 19605.
