Joyce L. Faust

Joyce L. Faust, 72, died June 23, 2011 of Multiple Myeloma in her North Heidelberg Twp. residence.

She was the wife of Theodore W. Faust, whom she married on July 21, 1956.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret (Vogt) Hall.

She attended Reading Central Catholic High School.

Joyce was an operator for Western Electric for 9 1/2 years.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Joyce loved horse racing and the casinos; her cats and the Phillies, but most of all she loved her family, especialy spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband she is survived by four children: Patricia Ann, wife of Brian Fair, Leola; Theodore L., Bernville; Cheryl Lynn, wife of Jeff Hart, Leesport and Rick Allen, husband of Sandra, West Reading. There are four siblings, her twin brother, Clarence Hall, Judy Ruth, Phyllis Hall and Robert Hall. Eight grandchildren, including her "favorite marine", and six great-grandchildren also survive her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels RCC, Hyde Park. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. and Monday from 9 to 9:30 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale.
