Joyce L. Cochran

Joyce Lorraine Cochran, 68, of Muhlenberg Township died on January 18, 2008 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center where she had been a patient for two days.

She was the wife of Thomas L. Cochran, whom she married on September 9, 1956.

Born on August 19, 1939 she was a daughter of the late William and Pearl G. (Harmon) Mentzer.

She is also survived by her two sons, Thomas L., Jr., Wernersville and Daniel P., Leesport. There are four sisters, Rose Wettig, Patricia Sanders and Jane Huntoon, all of Lancaster County; and Carol Borden, Florida. One grandson, Steven R. Cochran, Reading; and two great-grandchildren also survive her.

She was predeceased by two brothers, William and Robert; and one sister, Margaret.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale. Friends may call one hour before the service at the funeral home.
