Josephine Trompetter

Josephine (Strasser) Trompetter, 90, formerly of West Reading, died October 9, 2012, in Lutheran Home at Topton.

Her husband, Paul Trompetter, died June 2, 1983.

Born in Rosrath, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Josef and Christina (Brohl) Strasser.

She was employed as a packer by Linette's Candy and later worked for Schrafft Candies, West Reading.

Josephine is survived by her step-daughter, Hildegard T., widow of Dr. James Ciabatoni, Wyomissing; 7 step-grandchildren; 21 step-great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her step-son, Walter Trompetter, who died in 1979.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 20, 2012, at 10:45 a.m. in Sacred Heart Villa, 51 Seminary Ave., Reading, PA 19605. Burial will be private in Gethsemane Cemetery.
