Josephine Tomeo

Josephine Tomeo, 81, formerly of the Wynnewood Apartments, North Park Road, Wyomissing, died Oct. 18 at 8:30 a.m. in Kutztown Manor, where she had resided since Aug. 21.

Born in Rankin, Allegheny County, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Mary (Ciberey) Tomeo.

Tomeo was employed for 36 years as a secretary by the Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Bureau, Reading, retiring in 1980.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

Tomeo is survived by a sister, Patricia M. (Tomeo) Brey, Allentown.

Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.
