Josephine C. Shuman

Josephine C. Shuman, 94, formerly of Shillington, died May 1, 2012 in Berks Heim.

She was the widow of Stanley Shuman.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Lucia (Calatabiano) Correnti.

She was employed by the Wide-A-Wake Shirt Co., Reading for many years.

Josephine served as a den mother for her children, and was a long-time Phillies fan.

She is survived by a son, Charles, widower of Peggy (Turner) Correnti, Downers Grove, IL, and a daughter, Stella (Shuman) Boner, widow of John, West Lawn. There are four grandchildren, Colin Shuman, Tyler Shuman, Corey Correnti and Cea Correnti; and one great-grandchild, Timothy Correnti. One sister, Mildred "Nan" Barbon, Reading also survives her.

She was predeceased by a son, David Shuman; and five sisters and two brothers.
