Josephine A. Mcnamara

Josephine A. (Russo) McNamara, 68, of Wyomissing, died September 13, 2010 in Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Thomas G. McNamara.

Josephine was a daughter of the late Giovanni and Nancy (Calcagno) Russo.

She was a 1961 graduate of St. Peter's Catholic High School.

Josephine was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

She worked from 1978 to 2008 as a realtor associate. Josephine was employed as a site representative while at Prudential Commonwealth Real Estate at Green Valley Estates. She previously worked for Jack Martens Realty, and later Park Road Partners Realty Co.

Josephine was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Victor Emmanuel, II Beneficial Society.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Michael S., husband of Karen L., Pipersville and Nancy K. McNamara, Dendron, VA; two siblings, Mary Perate, Sinking Spring and Samuel, husband of Dolly Russo, Cedar Grove, NJ; and three grandchildren, Jacqueline, Josephine and Julyanna.

She was predeceased by her brother Anthony Russo and her sister, Febronia Russo.

Words of Remembrance will be shared Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church. Burial will be private in Gethsemane Cemetery.
