Josephine A. Goerner

Josephine A. Goerner, 82 formerly of Reading died September 3 at 10 AM in Regina Nursing Center, Norristown where she had been since July 25.

Her husband Edward W. Goerner died July 8, 1998.

Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Agatha (Bisazza) Lombardo.

Goerner was employed by Schott's Candies, West Reading as a sales person for 20 years retiring in 2000.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

Goerner is survived by one son Rev. James E. Goerner, Philadelphia. She is also survived by one sister, Natalie (Lombardo) O'Neill, Wyomissing.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Entombment in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township. Friends may call Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. 739 Penn Avenue West Reading, PA 19611.
