Josephine S. Denatale

Josephine S. (Bower) Denatale, 90, of Reading, passed away September 12, 2016, at the Reading Hospital.

Her husband, James Denatale, died on May 7, 2003.

Born in Reading, She was a daughter of the late Daniel H. and Josephine (Keffer) Bower.

She attended McCann School of Business & Technology.

Josephine was an avid reader, loved to sew, and had a green thumb; she had a knack for planting and gardening.

She is survived by two children: Michael L., husband of Linda Denatale, Reading; and James T. Denatale, Berks Heim; three grandchildren: Michael Denatale; James Denatale; and Marcie Fidler; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
