Josephine E. Caldwell

Josephine E. Caldwell Josephine E. Caldwell, 97, Wyomissing, died Dec. 1 in the Highlands at Wyomissing, where she was a resident.

Her husband, Clarence E. Caldwell, died May 9, 1972.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late James J. and Edythe M. (Shanaman) Tulley.

Caldwell had been employed for 32 years as a registered nurse by the Reading School District, retiring in 1970.

She was a 1932 graduate of the St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing.

Caldwell was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

She is survived by a sister, Jeannette E. (Tulley) Kerber, Wyomissing.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
