Joseph Wawrzyniak

Joseph Wawrzyniak, 79, of Reading, died February 7, 2007 in his residence.

He was the husband of Natalie T. (Tatarewicz) Wawrzyniak.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Joseph and Julia (Bukowski) Wawrzyniak.

Joseph was a foreman at Dana Corp. for 37 years, retiring in 1987.

He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Millmont.

Joseph was a 4th degree member Knights of Columbus, Chapter # 793, Reading.

Mr. Wawrzyniak is survived by one son, Kenneth J., husband of Barbara A. Wawrzyniak, Elizabethtown,; one daughter, Sharon M. (Wawrzyniak), wife of Steven Troelsch, Landisville, Pa. two brothers, William Wawrzyniak, Schuylkill County, Ted Wawrzyniak, Whitfield, and three sisters, Anne (Wawrzyniak) Lis, Reinholds, Florence (Wawrzyniak) Bush, Reading and Dorothy (Wawrzyniak) Filippini, Reading.

Other survivors include nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Millmont. Friends may call Friday 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Reading.
