Joseph S. Ostrowski

Joseph S. Ostrowski, 98, of Reading, passed away February 8, 2024, at the Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Doris (Dunn) Ostrowski. Born in Reading, PA on April 8, 1925, he was the son of the late Stanley and Anna (Romanik) Ostrowski. He is survived by three grandchildren, Peter, Robert, and Alex and one great granddaughter Naomi.

He is predeceased by his son, Joseph S. Ostrowski Jr., and his sister, Hedwig (Alexander) Ostrowski.

Joe was a 1942 graduate of Reading High School. He served with the US Army Corps of Combat Engineers during WWII. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Drexel University. Joe was employed in the accounting and engineering departments at AT&T and then retired from Lucent Technologies. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sports, and travelling. He also enjoyed hunting and deep-sea fishing.
