Joseph W. Reilly

Joseph W. Reilly, 91, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at the Gardens at Stevens, beside his wife of 71 years, Mary (Jennings) Reilly. She passed away just six days later.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William and Kelly Reilly. In his youth, he excelled as a baseball player. A fan of all sports, his favorite team was Notre Dame. He worked as an industrial mechanic for Westinghouse for many years, until his retirement in 1989.

Joe was a devout Catholic and a member of the Church of St. Benedict in Mohnton.

He and Mary are survived by sons: Joseph Reilly (Donna) of Parksburg, Robert Reilly (Regina) of Springfield, Michael Reilly (Nancy) of Allentown, Edward Reilly of Myrtle Beach, SC, John Reilly (Shelley) of West Chester, William Reilly (Bonnie) of Reading; daughter, Mary Catherine Forrest (Scott) of East Earl; 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Joseph and Mary on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of St. Benedict 2020 Chestnut Hill Road, Mohnton, PA 19540. A viewing will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery of West Conshohocken.
