Joseph M. Periandi

Joseph M. Periandi, 69, passed away at the Reading Hospital on July 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Dominic M. and Betty Jane (Terefenko) Periandi. Joe graduated from Holy Name High School in 1974, and Albright College with a degree in Accounting in 1978.

Throughout his career, he worked for C. Malcolm Smith Accountants, Kuntz-Lesher Accountants, and most recently Spring Ridge Financial Group. He was also the owner/operator of Joseph M. Periandi, CPA.

Outside of his professional life, Joe enjoyed being outdoors, golfing and biking. He was the treasurer of Victor Emmanuel Society, Crime Alert Berks County, and the Shillington Rotary Club. He was an adjunct instructor in tax at Albright College. Joe also thoroughly enjoyed serving as a PIAA and American Legion Umpire.

Joe is survived by, Rondelle S. (Hohl) Lorah; his brother, Ralph "Rick" Periandi (Vicki); his nephews, Ricky M. Periandi (Molly), and Zachary M. Periandi (Kristen); his great-nieces and nephews: Brayden, Sophia, Ethan, and Khloe; as well as Rondelle's children: Tanya S. Smith (Brad), and Trevor H. Lorah (Amanda); as well as her grandchildren, Claire and Adler.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading and again on Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. Ignatius RCC. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 10 a.m. at St. Ignatius Loyola Church, 2600 St. Alban's Drive, Reading, PA 19609, with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
