Joseph P. Bruno

Joseph P. Bruno, 79 of Mohrsville died February 5, 2018 in his residence. He was predeceased by his wife, Vivienne on February 24, 2014 and his son Joseph David on April 6, 1986. Joe was born in Bethlehem was the son of the late Joseph P. and Virginia (Schuman) Bruno. Joseph is survived by his daughters, Donna Marie wife of John Bailey, Mohrsville; Patricia Jean Moerder, Hamburg; Nancy C. Bruno, West Chester; grandchildren, Dustin Beissel husband of Rebecca, Edgewater, FL, Rebecca wife of Josh Bastian, Hamburg, Kelley Roach, Hamburg and Madison S. Jones, West Chester, great granddaughters, Siera  and Autum Beissel, Edgewater, FL and Marley Jones, West Chester. His brother and best friend, Robert Bruno and his wife Dolores and their family also survive him . Joe was proud of his accomplishments, honors and education, but it was his family, friends, church and volunteer work that were important and gave him the most pleasure. Joe believed in the importance of love for everyone.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held on February 10th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 94 Walnut Road, Hamburg, PA. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the church. Burial will be private in St. Mary Cemetery, Hamburg. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Church Building Fund, PO Box 189, Hamburg, PA 19526 or Mary's Shelter, 736 Upland Avenue, Reading, PA 19607.
