Joseph Napoli

Joseph Napoli, 94, died March 13th at 1:05 a.m. in his residence at 1701 State Hill Road, Apt F-4, Wyomissing, Pa 19610.

He was the husband of Lucy (Scornavacchi) Napoli.

Born in Reading he was a son of the late Santo and Carmela (Giacinta) Napoli.

He was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Napoli was the the owner/operator of Joe's Grocery at 1012 Pear Street, Reading for 40 years before retiring in 1986.

He is also survived by a son, Santo J. husband of Judith Ann (Eshenaur) Napoli of Reading.

Other survivors include a sister, Peppina (Napoli) D'Urso of Catania, Italy and three brothers, Ross, Phillip and Gino Napoli all of Melbourne, Australia.

There is one granddaughter, Shelly (Napoli) Kinsey of Flying Hills and three great grandchildren, Katie, Michael and Mary Kinsey.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 9:30am in St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield. Viewing Sunday evening 7:30pm - 9:00pm in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
