Joseph T. Naples, 82, of West Reading, died March 2 at 7:20 p.m. in Reading Hospital where he had been a patient since February 26.
He was the husband Antoinette M. (Damico) Naples.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Frank and Rose (Barbato) Naples.
He was a graduate of St. Clair High School, Brooklyn, NY.
Naples was employed as a supervisor by Firestone Tire and Rubber Company, Pottstown for 27 years retiring in 1980. He was also the owner/operator of Sycamore Antiques.
He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
Naples was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Frank J., Spring Twp. There is also one sister Julia (Naples) Aragona, Rockville Center, NY. Other survivors include 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and Monday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. both in the funeral home.
