Joseph Mikulin

Joseph F. Milkulin, 83, formerly of East Brunswick, NJ, passed away in his Reading residence on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. He was the loving husband of Margery M. (Wasek), with whom he shared over fifty years of marriage.

Joe was born to Frank and Ann Mikulin. He enlisted in the Marines early at 16 and served honorably from 1956-1959. He began his career with DuPont where he worked as a packaging engineer and a film engineer for x-ray machines. DuPont holds six patents for work for which Joe was responsible.

Joe was a stubborn man who loved and cared about his family deeply. After Joe's retirement, he and Margery moved to Reading to be closer to their son and grandson.

In addition to his wife, Joe is survived by their son, Doug Mikulin, of Muhlenberg, and grandson, Ethan Mikulin, also of Muhlenberg. Joe is also survived by his nephew, Jason Wasek of Little Falls, NJ, and his cousin-in-law, Dan Kardash of Wayne, NJ. Joe was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Ted Wasek, who is survived by his widow, Patricia.
