Joseph Marko, Jr

Joseph Marko, Jr. age 73, formerly of Centre Township passed away on September 20, 2021, at Penn State St. Joseph Hospital in Bern Township.

His wife, Sherry Kaye (Moyer) Marko, died on April 7, 2015.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Facek) Marko.

He was employed by Penn DOT as a project manager for 35 years and MKA as a construction inspector, retiring in 2014.

He is survived by is sister Anna J. wife of Harry McCaully and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his sister: Catherine L (Marko) Lengel.

Services will be Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 11:30 am. at Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, 40 South 4th Street, Hamburg with burial to follow at Berks County Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 am. at the funeral home.
