Joseph J. Thomas

Joseph J. Thomas, 70, Lower Heidelberg Township, died February 6, 2007 in Reading Hospital where he had been for the past month.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Edward H. and Angeline R. (Jordan) Thomas

Joseph was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, Spring Township.

He was survived by five brothers, Edward H. Thomas, Reading, George J. Thomas, Sinking Spring, Lewis J. Thomas, Reading, Henry H. Thomas and William E. Thomas, Sinking Spring; and two sisters, Mary Ann (Thomas) Haugh, Shillington and Carol M. (Thomas) McVoy, Lower Heidelberg Township.

Joseph is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Charles J. and Michael J. Thomas; and five sisters, Francis L. (Thomas) Vicary, Josephine (Thomas) Killian, Angeline R. (Thomas) DeCisco, Lucille (Thomas) Reber, and Louise (Thomas) Killian.

Services will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading. Friends may call Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m..
