Joseph T.R. Garwood

Joseph T. R. Garwood III, 25, of Blandon PA passed away in Ruscombmanor Township of heart failure on May 23, 2013.

Born in Norristown in 1987 he was the oldest son of Joseph R. and Patricia A. (McManus) Garwood.

He was a 2005 graduate of Trinity Christian Academy in Huntingdon Valley PA.

Joe was self employed in his own concern, Garwood Technologies. He was a self employed computer systems analyst and had commercial and retail accounts.

Joe liked to collect technical items like vintage radios, television sets and vacuum tubes from the 1940's, '50's and '60's. Joe had many friends for whom he hosted an annual party, the Christmas Special. Joe liked old cars like his 1959 Pontiac Star Chief Vista Hardtop and his 1992 Chrysler LeBaron GTC Convertible.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother Michael and sisters Rita Rutledge, Grace Garwood, Rachel Garwood and Polly Garwood.

A Memorial Service was held this past Thursday at Grace Fellowship Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693.
