Joseph Fuoti, 81, of Spring Township, died January 2, 2010 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Joseph and Carmella (Julian) Fuoti.
Joseph was a Deli Manager, working for Food Fair Grocery.
He was a member of Holy Rosary R.C. Church.
Joseph was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in WWII.
Joseph is survived by his nieces: Christine, wife of Michael G. Lichman, III, Beverly, wife of William Livezey, Joy Lynn Fuoti- Aulenbach and Deborah Fuoti; and his nephews: Anthony Fuoti, Jr., Jeffery Fuoti, Kurt Fuoti, Gerald Fuoti and Thomas Fuoti. He is also survived by his 9 great-nieces, 4 great-nephews, 4 great-great-nieces and 3 great-great-nephews.
He was predeceased by his 4 brothers: Anthony, Thomas, Sam and Lester as well as 5 sisters: Rose Spadafora, Grace Yeager, Josephine DeCamillo, Carmella Fuoti and Gloria Fuoti.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary R.C. Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the church. In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to the Mark and Allison Beaver Medical Fund c/o Sovereign Bank, 2220 State Hill Rd., Wyomissing, PA 19610. Edward J.
