Joseph R. Frick

Joseph R. Frick, 76, of Muhlenberg Township, died December 23, 2009 in St. Joseph Hospital.

He was the husband of Joyce M. (Ritz) Frick.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Frank and Anna (Hartberger) Frick.

He was a 1951 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Joseph was an U.S. Army veteran stationed in Germany serving during the Korean Conflict.

He was employed as a welder for 36 years by Dana Corporation.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Patricia M., wife of Phil Young, Indian Trail, N.C. and Karen L., wife of Dennis Quartapella, Morgantown.

He is also survived by three grandchildren, Phil Rapp, Joseph Rapp and Sara Rapp and one nephew and one niece.

He was predeceased by his brother, Frank Frick.

Joseph was warm and friendly and had a great sense of humor.

He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
