Joseph S. Farina

Joseph Sebastian Farina, 30, died October 13, 2009 at 4:50 pm in his Mohnton residence.

Born April 6, 1979 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading, he was a son of Giuseppe and Nicolina (Lisa) Farina, of Mohnton.

He was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church.

Joseph was a 1997 graduate of Holy Name High School and attended Penn State University, Berks Campus.

He was in partnership with his father for a number of years at Joe and Son Landscaping, Mohnton, last working three months ago.

Joseph is also survived by his daughter, Isabella Nicolina Farina, a student at Sacred Heart School.

Other survivors include a sister, Nancy T. (Farina), wife of Daniel V. DeCarlo of Reading and two nephews: Rocco J. DeCarlo and Emilio S. DeCarlo.

Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends survive him.

He was predeceased by a brother, Sebastiano Joseph Farina, who died January 13, 1973.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Franklin Street & 8th Avenue, West Reading.

Viewings will be held Sunday 6:00 - 8:00 pm and Monday 8:30 - 9:30 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township.
