Joseph Anthony DeLuma, 69, of Denver, Lancaster County, died February 16, 2011 in Ephrata Community Hospital.
Born January 14, 1942 in Reading, he was a son of the late John Anthony and Frances (Franco) DeLuma.
Joseph was a 1959 graduate of Central Catholic High School.
He served in the U.S. Army National Guard.
Joseph was employed as a barber with John A. DeLuma Barber Shop for 15 years, retiring in 2004.
He was a lifetime member of Victro Emmanuel II Lodge and enjoyed sports of all kinds.
Surviving is a sister, Carol A. Schmoyer of Muhlenberg Township.
Other survivors include a niece, Heather R. Doukas of Muhlenberg Township; two nephews, Tommy W. Schmoyer, III of Shillington; a great nephews, Thomas W. Schmoyer, IV and Louie Doukas and a great niece Oiabella S. Doukas.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated Monday at 1:00 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
