Joseph A. Degeorge

Joseph A. DeGeorge, 78, of Lambda Circle, South Heidelberg Township, died Dec. 15 in ManorCare Health Services Inc., Spring Township.

He was the husband of Phyllis M. (Cassara) DeGeorge.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Catherine (Natoli) DeGeorge.

DeGeorge was employed as a musician until his retirement.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

DeGeorge was an Army veteran of World War II.

He is also survived by a daughter, Dr. Theresa A. DeGeorge, Exeter Township, and a son, Joseph S., Wernersville.

Other survivors include two sisters, Frances (DeGeorge) Carrozza, Reading, and Betty (DeGeorge) Ferlazzo, West Reading.

Services and burial will be private. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
