Joseph C. Guido, 81, formerly of Reading, died December 30, 2012, in Lutheran Home at Topton.
He was the husband of Eufemia "Coco" (Uriza) Guido for 48 years.
Born in Managua, Nicaragua, he was the son of the late Gonzales Guido.
Joseph was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was employed for 23 years by Gilbert Associates, retiring March 31, 1995.
Joseph was a devoted and loving husband to his wife Coco, who he adored. He was a loving father and grandfather. He loved life, living life to its fullest.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Gladys C. (Guido) Mayer, Sinking Spring and her children, Brandon and Connor; and Joseph Michael Guido, husband of Sandra D. Guido, Flying Hills and their children, Christopher and Chloe. One brother, Anthony Guido, Sr., Reading also survives him.
He was predeceased by one sister, Gladys (Guido) Ubena.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 1 p.m. in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
