Joseph E. Andrzejewski, 93, passed away February 28, 2011 in his daughter, Janet's Muhlenberg Township residence, surrounded by his loving family.
He was the loving husband of Rose (Damore) Andrzejewski, whom he married January 1, 1944.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Albert and Victoria (Kerber) Andrzcyezewski.
Joseph was an X-Ray Technician, working for the V.A. in Philadelphia, St Joseph's Hospital and in 1987 he retired from the St. Lawrence Medical Center, Exeter Township.
He was a member of the Hospitallers' Relief Association, William Penn Association, East Ends, Polish Falcons of America and the American Legion.
Joseph was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Township.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in WWII.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters: Joanne V., widow of Earl R. Heintz, Exeter and Janet C. Noll, Temple. Also surviving are his two granddaughters: Tara, wife of Keith Lawlor; Andrea, wife of John P. George and his six great-grandchildren: Alex Heintz, Kevin Lawlor, Sadie Lawlor, Peter George, Robert George and Caroline Lawlor.
He was predeceased by his great-granddaughter, Isabella George and his eight siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Exeter Township. A viewing will be held 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Laureldale. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Central Catholic High School, Financial Aid, 1400 Hill Rd., Reading, PA 19602. Edward J.
