Joseph A. McGlynn, 74, of Oxford Avenue, Lincoln Park, died April 16 at 10:43 p.m. in ManorCare Health Services Inc., Sinking Spring, where he had resided since August 2003.
He was the husband of Joan I. (Laury) McGlynn.
Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Joseph A. and Helen (Kane) McGlynn.
McGlynn was manager of Two Guys, Shillington, from 1960 to 1969, and was supervisor of all the chain's stores in Pennsylvania from 1969 to 1974.
He was later employed from 1980 to 1985 as manager of The Toastmaster Outlet at Vanity Fair, Wyomissing, until his retirement.
McGlynn was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.
He served in the National Guard.
McGlynn is also survived by a son, David J., Mohnton, and two daughters, Kelly A. (McGlynn) Gilbert, Fleetwood, and Patricia A. (McGlynn) Rivers, Lincoln Park.
Other survivors include two grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Lehighton, Carbon County.
