Jose A. Rivera

Jose A. Rivera, III, 27, of Reading, died September 3, 2012 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Born in North Tarrytown, NY, he was the son of Jose A. Rivera, Reading and Wanda (Garcia), wife of Luis DeJesus, Sr., Ocala, FL.

He was employed by Giorgio Food, Inc., Reading.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Joangel Rivera Matos, Puerto Rico; his siblings: William Garcia, Maria Rivera, Luis DeJesus, Jr. and Krystalie Rivera, all of Ocala Florida, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his second family that raised him, parents: Juan Ortiz and Ana Perez Ortiz and siblings: John Ortiz, Jacqueline Ortiz and Nelly Ortiz, all of Puerto Rico.

A viewing will be Saturday 3 to 7 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Services and burial will be in Puerto Rico. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
