Jose Nuã±Ez

Jose Nuñez, 64, of Reading, passed away November 1, 2016 in the Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Josefa Nuñez.

Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he was the son of the late Sinancio Nuñez and Flor Olacio, New Jersey.

Jose was employed by Eagle Electric as a machine operator for over 10 years.

He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 2 children Jose Nuñez Jr., Sofia Nuñez, 4 step-children, Victor Mancebo, John Mancebo, Gabriela Robles and Marleny Robles. He is also survived by his siblings, Fefey Nuñez, Nelson, husband of Amilka Nuñez, Carmen Nuñez, Gabriel, husband of Lydia Nuñez, Mayra Nuñez, Sonia Nuñez, Aurora Nuñez, Henry Nuñez and Reynaldo husband of Elizabeth Nuñez; eleven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jose is predeceased by his son Ronnie Nuñez.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, November 4, 2016 at 1 p.m. in St. Joseph R. C. Church, 1018 N 8th St, Reading, PA 19604, with burial to follow at Charles Evans Cemetery. A viewing will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
