Jordon A. Colon

A Mass of Christian Burial for Jordan A. Colon, 7, of Weiser Street, who died Jan. 10 at 8 a.m. in Hershey Medical Center, Dauphin County, will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.

Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.

He had been a patient at the medical center since Jan. 2.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Jerome Singleton and Wanda Colon, Reading.

Colon had attended the Montessori Country Day School from 1999 until 2001.

He is also survived by a brother, Justin A., a student at Bloomsburg University in Columbia County, and a half sister, Brittany Johnson, a student at the University of Pittsburgh.

Other survivors include his maternal grandparents, Julio and Maria Colon, Reading; his paternal grandmother, Shirley Gaylor, Mount Penn; and his paternal grandfather, William Ferguson, York.
