Joly Centeno Cabuso

Joly Centeno Cabuso, 73, of Blandon, passed away on April 14, 2026, at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center.

He was the loving husband of Virginia Galang Cabuso, and they shared 52 years of marriage.

Born in the Philippines, he was a son of the late Justo and Felisa Centeno Cabuso.

He was employed by Sam’s Club for 26 years and retired in January 2021.

Joly will be cherished by his family and friends for his genuine love for others, his strong work ethic, and his selflessness. Known for his outgoing and friendly demeanor, he made a lasting impression on everyone he met, including customers and co-workers at Sam's Club, where many believed he could easily win an election for Mayor. No matter the circumstances, when asked how he was doing, he would always say with a smile, a thumbs up or a nod, - “I’m good!” He had a passion for cooking, especially his renowned butter chicken, which brought joy to family gatherings. During these occasions, he delighted everyone with his karaoke performances of classics like "Unchained Melody," "Wonderful Tonight," and "My Way."

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children: Gheng, wife of Wayne Bensinger, Gracie, wife of Joe Weichert, and Jericho Cabuso; three siblings: Connie Jones, Senyang Manalang, and Paulita Cabuso. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Mitch, Morgan, Paige Bensinger; Analee, Brianna, Catelyn Weichert; and Ella Mae Brader.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 5153 Kutztown Rd, Temple, PA 19560. Burial will be private. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
