Johnny Liviu Banut, 23, of Reading, died October 15, 2011 in Wernersville as the result of a motor vehicle accident.

Born January 3, 1988 in Los Angeles, CA, he was a son of the Radu Ionel and Mirela (Fildan) Ursoi.

He was employed as an independent contractor, working with his father, Radu, for the past five years.

Johnny loved sports, especially the Yankees.

He loved life and lived it to the fullest, doting on his younger brother and sister.

Johnny had charisma and charm and could always make everyone laugh.

Words cannot express how his family and friends will miss him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two siblings: his little brother, Lukas Radu Ursoi and Michelle A. Banut, fiancée of Danny Santiago.

Other survivors include a paternal grandmother, Eva Verosto of Spring Township and maternal grandmother, Maria Fildan and maternal grandfather, Ernest Otero, both of New York, NY.

Johnny is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Lazar Ursoi and a maternal great grandmother, Ana Fildan.

Services will be Wednesday at 12 p.m. in Spring Valley Church of God, 2727 Old Pricetown Road, Temple. Viewings will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, PA 19605 and Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service, in the church. Burial will be in Bern Cemetery, Bern Township.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home, at the above address.
