John G. Zielaskowski

John G. Zielaskowski, 81, of Wyomissing, passed away on February 2, 2024, at Mifflin Center due to natural causes.

His wife, Maureen C. (Williams) Zielaskowski, passed away on February 22, 2023.

Born in Reading he was a son of the late Casimere and Mary (Manowczak) Zielaskowski.

He was a graduate of Reading High School in 1961.

John was a wire finisher for 30 years retiring in 2002 from Carpenter Technology.

John loved car shows, fishing and later in life traveling, especially cruises. Always talking with the chefs that prepared his meals and asking for the recipe so that he can recreate them at home. He was also quite the chef.

He is survived by his son, Keith Zielaskowski, Reading; brother Raymond, widower of Sheila Zielaskowski. John was predeceased by one brother, Casimere Zielaskowski. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and grand nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life gathering on Monday February 12th at Mikura Restaurant located at 840 N Park Rd in Wyomissing between the hours of 1:00 and 4:00. All are welcome to share some memories.
