John I. Yoder

John I. Yoder,76, of 315 Hartz Road, Ruscombmanor Township, Fleetwood, Pa 19522 died April 24th at 9:03 am in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center where he had been since April 15th.

He was married April 19, 1952 to the late Rosie A. (Janiszewski) Yoder who died November 22, 1997.

Born in Ruscombmanor, he was a son of the late Irvin Charles and Florence (Seidel) Yoder.

He was a Navy WWII Veteran.

Yoder was employed as a machine operator for 38 years at Dana Corporation before retiring in 1984.

He is survived by a son, John Edward Yoder of Oley and two daughters; Kathleen Ann (Yoder) wife of Brian J. Higgins of Lower Alsace Township and Eileen Marie (Yoder) wife of Russell E. Walters of Oley.

Other survivors include a sister, Virginia (Yoder) widow of Stanley Gerhart of Bern Township and four grandchildren; Chad Walters, Kelly Higgins, Andrew Higgins and Emily Yoder.

Services will be Monday 9:30 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Keith K. Rohrbach officiating. Viewing Sunday evening 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Internment in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
