John D. Witmyer

John David Witmyer, Sr., 88, died March 4, 2011 in his Spring Township residence.

He was the husband of Ruth M. (Henne) Witmyer, whom he married April 1, 1945.

Born February 18, 1923 in Kenhorst, he was a son of the late Albert Henry and Martha Ellen (Hartman) Witmyer.

Also surviving are two children: Joan L. (Witmyer) Kulp and John D. Witmyer, Jr., both of Spring Township; a brother, Albert Witmyer of Cumru Township; a sister, Bette Lou (Witmyer) Gilmer of Spring Township and four grandchildren.
