John R. Walker

John R. Walker, 86, of Muhlenberg Township, died June 5, 2015 at Reading Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Percy F. and Mary R. (Roberts) Walker.

John was a 1946 graduate of William Penn High School, Harrisburg, and earned a B.S. from Penn State University.

He also served in the U. S. Marine Corps.

John was a realtor with Wertz, Hoffman & Parks.

He was an Eagle Scout and past member of Muhlenberg Rotary Club.

John is survived by his son, Stephen J., husband of Nancy Walker, Windham, NY; his daughter, Barbara L., wife of Frank Pajak, Clinton, PA, and his sister, Nancy Ann Hess, Camp Hill, PA.

He was predeceased by his brother, Percy F. Walker, Jr.
