John A. Sabulsky, 80, of the Wynnewood at Wyomissing Apartments, Park Road, Wyomissing, died April 22 at 11:35 p.m. in his residence.
He was the husband of Doris R. (Preneta) Sabulsky.
Born in McAdoo, Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late Joseph and Agnes (Stahowich) Sabulsky.
Sabulsky had been employed for 10 years in shipping by S. S. White, Piscataway, N.J., retiring in 1989. He had previously worked 26 years as an inside salesman for Swift & Co., New Brunswick, N.J.
He was a member of St. Stephen's Polish National Catholic Church, Cumru Township.
Sabulsky was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a graduate of McAdoo High School.
Sabulsky is also survived by a daughter, Carol A. (Sabulsky) Amann, Phillipsburg, N.J.; and two sons, John J., Birdsboro, and Scott A., Altamonte Springs, Fla.
Other survivors include a brother, Frank, Shillington; and three sisters: Helen (Sabulsky) Waskiewicz and Jenny (Sabulsky) Wawrzonek, both of Reading, and Anna (Sabulsky) Gula, Hazleton Heights, Luzerne County.
There are also three granddaughters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Polish National Cemetery. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
