John L. Pellicciotti

John Lewis Pellicciotti, 57, of Reading, died of natural causes September 10th at 3:27 pm in the Emergency Room at the Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Carol Ann (Sheetz) Pellicciotti, whom he married November 16, 1968.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late John V. and Susan M. (Philistine) Pellicciotti.

He attended Central Catholic High School.

John was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

He was a Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and an American Legion member of Post #19, Laurel, Delaware.

John was a member of the Temple (Muhlenberg Twp.), Mt. Pleasant (Bern Twp.) and Union (Leesport) Fire Companies.

He was last employed a number of years as a supervisor by JetSort, Muhlenberg Township.

John is also survived by a daughter, Tara L. (Pellicciotti) wife of Terry W. Brown of Reading and two sons, Michael E. and Christopher J. both of Reading.

Other survivors include a sister, Elizabeth L. (Pellicciotti) wife of Conrad Kornoski of Laureldale and two grandchildren, Vanessa M. Brown and Sydney A. Brown both of Reading.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 am in St. Joseph R.C. Church, Reading. Viewing will be held 8:30am until 9:30am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
