John R. Patterson

John "Jack" Robert Patterson, 77, of Lower Alsace Township, died May 1, 2009 in the St. Joseph Hospital.

He was the husband of Jane L. (Mengel) Patterson, who he married August 8, 1973.

Born in Reading, PA on May 29, 1931, he was a son of the late Joseph L. and Kathryn G. (Clawges) Patterson.

He was a 1949 graduate of Reading High School and attended Wharton School of Business.

John was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.

He is also survived by a daughter, Randy L. (Patterson) Maier and two grandsons: Mason R. Maier and Tanner L. Maier.

John was predeceased by a brother, Robert Patterson.
