John L. Orzechowski

John L. Orzechowski, 88, of Upland Avenue, died May 13 at 9:05 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since April 29.

He was the husband of Wanda F. (Rzymski) Orzechowski.

Born in Mahanoy Plane, Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Orzechowski.

Orzechowski was employed for 33 years as a machinist by North American Rockwell, Wyomissing, retiring in 1979.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Orzechowski was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Millmont.

He is also survived by a son, Leonard J., Birdsboro.

Other survivors include a sister, Helen (Orzechowski) Stepanoskie, Frackville, Schuylkill Couny; and three grandsons.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Laureldale. Entombment will be in the cemetery mausoleum. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
