John F. Mogel

John F. Mogel, 98, formerly of West Reading, died January 17, 2015, in Berkshire Center.

His wife, Ruth R. (Reber) Mogel, died November 12, 2008.

Born in Brookings, SD, he was a son of the late Charles and Mary (Hill) Mogel.

John was a U.S. Army veteran serving during WWII.

He was employed by Western Electric, for 22 years, retiring in 1982.

John was a member of St. John's Reformed Church, Sinking Spring, where he was a past Deacon and Elder.

He is survived by his daughter, Jean E. Yerger, Exeter Township and two grand-daughters-in-law, Rebecca and her children, Ty and Tate; and Jamnie and her children, Jordan and Taylor.

John was predeceased by five siblings, Lillie, Katie, Ruth, Mary and Grace, and two grandsons, Carl and John.
