John M. Mittl

John M. Mittl, 51, of Spring Township, died August 3, 2009 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Jean M. (Spang) Mittl, Spring Township and the late William E. Mittl, Sr.

He was a 1976 graduate of Wilson High School and attended Shippensburg University.

John was employed by the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs as a bartender and previously for 25 years by the Berkshire Country Club as the manager of the men's locker room.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Billy Mittl, Jr., Leesport and two sisters, Mary E., wife of Michael A. Dziamba, Spring Township and Katherine A. Mittl, Temple and his niece Margaret E. Dziamba.

John was predeceased by his brother, Robert J. Mittl.
