John F. Mcgoey

John F. "Jack" McGoey, Jr., 73, passed away November 14, 2010, in his Reading residence.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late John F., Sr., and Minnie (Gruber) McGoey.

He was a 1955 graduate of Central Catholic High School.

Jack was employed as a sales representative for Collegiate Cap and Gown, Inc. and previously for V.F. Corporation in the same capacity.

He served in the PA National Guard.

Jack is survived by three children, Timothy P., husband of Eva McGoey, Chicago, IL, Megan McGoey, Seal Beach, CA and Katy, wife of Stuart Miller, Laguna Beach, CA; two sisters, Mary Ellen Hafer, Exeter Township and Anne C., wife of William Thomas, Sinking Spring and two grandsons, Charlie Miller and Jack McGoey.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611.
