John Patrick Mcgill

John Patrick McGill, 95, of Exeter Township, passed away March 20, 2018, at The Highlands at Wyomissing.

He was the widower of Arlette J. McGill.

Born in Pittsfield, MA, he was a son of the late Michael John and Helen M. (Stack) McGill.

He was a member of Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, Kensington, MD.

John was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was employed by American Trucking Associates in public relations for 30 years, retiring in June, 1987.

John is survived by three children: John P., Christine M., wife of Donald Martin and Michelle M., wife of Joseph L. Boyle. Ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 9705 Summit Ave., Kensington, MD 20895. A viewing will be held Saturday from 12 to 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will be Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. Francis Inn, 2441 Kensington Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19125. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
