John Steven Littlefield, 61, of Morgantown, passed away on February 18, 2024 at Reading Hospital. Born in Northeast Philadelphia, he was the son of Jerome and Maryann (Pazdan) Littlefield. John was the loving husband of Maddalena M. (Cottone) Littlefield, with whom he shared 36 years of marriage.
John was a 1981 graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School, Norristown. During his time in school, he stood out as a talented athlete, participating in basketball, football, cross country, and track.
Throughout his working career, he was a general contractor and the very proud business owner of Task Force Construction and Littlefield Lawn Service.
John had a deep passion for the outdoors, finding joy in hunting, fishing, and relaxing on the beach. John had a way of making people feel comfortable in his presence with his smile and humor; he possessed the physical strength of three men with the gentleness of a teddy bear. Most importantly, John was a loving father, husband, son, brother, grandpop / pop-pop, and coach.
In addition to his wife, John is survived by his children: Dana, wife of Nicolas Berger, of Lafayette, CA, Daniel Littlefield, husband of Erin (Blosenski), of Somersworth, NH, Jessica, wife of James Parham, of Ringgold, GA, Evan Littlefield, husband of Danielle (Hannar), of Oceanside, CA, and Leah Littlefield, fiance of Connor Allerton, of Royersford, PA. Also surviving are John's grandchildren: Jackson Parham, Octavia Parham, and Tessa Littlefield. John leaves behind three siblings: Maryann Littlefield, of Pottstown, PA, Sharon Littlefield, of Harleysville, PA, and Joan, wife of Gary O'Conner, of East Norriton, PA. John is surrounded by many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Visitation and Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 12PM at the Church of Saint Benedict, 2020 Chestnut Hill Road Mohnton, PA 19540. Friends and family will be received from 10AM until 12PM.
