John Lisa

John Lisa, 61, passed away May 30, 2012, in his Bern Township residence.

He was the husband of Virginia D. (Schlegel) Lisa.

Born in Messina, Sicily, he was a son of the late Natale and Venera (Giordano) Lisa.

He was employed by Dana Corporation as a press operator for 32 years, retiring in 2000.

John was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church.

He was also a member of the Syndicate Car Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Natale, husband of Christine Lisa, Reading, Giovanni Lisa, whom resides at home, Antonia Lisa, West Reading and Christina Lisa, whom resides at home; his brother, Joseph, husband of Ninetta Lisa, West Lawn; four sisters, Victoria Azzarello, West Reading, Grazia, widow of Lucio Rozzi, Reading, Rosa, widow of John Waltrich, Wernersville and Nicolina Farina, Mohnton; and seven grandchildren: Giovanna, Austin, Samantha, Francesca, Dominic, Isabella and Payton also survive him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary R. C. Church, 237 Franklin St., Reading, PA, 19602. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
