John H. Lebo, Jr.

John H. Lebo, Jr., 84, of Wernersville, died February 19, 2015, in Berks Heim.

His wife, Virginia (Coda) Lebo, died September 24, 2008.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.

John was an artist/painter for Hen Johnston Advertising for 25 years. Later he worked in maintenance for the Reading School District until his retirement.

He was a talented painter and enjoyed sketching and painting at the Googleworks. He also taught art class at Kissinger's Lutheran Church. John was a life-long member of: Neversink Fire Company, The Liederkrantz, Victor Emmanuel, II Society and the U.S. Navy Club Ship #285.

He was a member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

John is survived by his son, Gregory, husband of Patricia Lebo, Telford; two grandchildren, Amanda C. Lebo and Christopher J. Lebo; two nieces, Patricia Kitterman and Donna Kline and one nephew, Mike Lebo.

He was predeceased by five sibling, William, Charles, Helen, Bernice and Catherine.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel of St. George at Gethsemane Cemetery, with burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery.
